A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Graduate Veterinary Surgeon to join our growing team at St Kitts Veterinary Group. This role is flexible and can be based at any one of our four practices (Basingstoke, Yateley, Fleet or Hartley Wintney).

Salary: £35-£45K (pro rata)

We’re an independent group of four modern, well-equipped small animal practices situated across North Hampshire, with easy access to London and the South Coast.

All of our practices are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including:
CT scanner (situated at our Basingstoke branch)
Digital x-rays
Dental suite with dental x-rays
Ultrasound equipment
Flexible endoscopes and gastroscopes
In-house lab
Cat and dog wards
We are multi-site certificate holders and many of our vets have keen interests and expertise in areas such as dermatology, acupuncture, cardiology, ultrasound, surgery, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, exotics and reptiles. We are also cat friendly clinic certified!
About the role
With a varied and interesting caseload, you will be fully supported and mentored by our experienced vets (including multiple certificate holders), proficient nursing team of RVNs and SVNs, and our highly experienced receptionists. You will spend your time shadowing and learning from other vets until you feel ready to become more independent – your mentor will provide you with full support and guidance every step of the way.
We encourage a healthy work-life balance, with no night duties or OOH, 6 weeks paid holiday and a very generous CPD allowance (RCVS and VDS paid by us on top of your allowance). We also actively support and encourage pursuing areas of clinical interest and studying for certificates when you feel ready.
This role will include a mix of early and late finishes and a minimal share of the weekend rota.
