We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary surgeon to join our wonderful team at Adelaide Veterinary Centre! An ideal position for those early in their career seeking a supportive environment to continue their development. 

This is a full-time position with a great work/life balance working 37 hours across 3.5 days and 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.

Practice:

Adelaide Veterinary Centre is a much-loved, well-established practice who have a wealth of experience caring for over 30,000 pets to date.
 We provide all the services needed to keep our patients fit and well, including ultrasound, digital x-rays and a modern surgery theatre.

The Area:

Adelaide Vets is close to Southampton town centre, Hampshire, with brilliant beaches and the New Forest also on our doorstep-the best of both worlds! 
 Southampton is located around 80 miles south-west of London and 20 miles west of Portsmouth, making this role a great opportunity for commuters.

Our Team:
 We are a team of experienced small animal Vets aided by our wonderful nurses, receptionists and administrative team, all dedicated to looking after our customers and their pets. We are looking for our sixth Vet to join us in providing this continuity of fantastic care.

Role:

This role is for a full time Vet. You will be working a 3.5 day week, meaning you get a half day on your 4^th day. The 3 full days compromise of a 9am-7pm shift, with the half day worked as a 9am-2.00pm shift. 

We welcome applicants with a range of experience who have established their core clinical skills and are building confidence in practice. If you’re motivated to develop your surgical abilities further, we’d love to hear from you and will fully support your continued growth.
