An established and highly regarded small animal practice in Bursledon, Southampton, is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly and supportive team.

About Our Practice
We have a loyal and growing client base, and the practice continues to expand at an exciting pace. We see a wide variety of cases, including a good mix of second-opinion consultations and complex diagnostic work-ups, providing an interesting and rewarding caseload.
Our team is supported by visiting specialists in diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, and cardiology.
We also perform the majority of our orthopaedic and advanced soft tissue procedures in-house, led by one of our permanent veterinary surgeons.
Our vets hold certificates in soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, and ophthalmology, creating a collaborative environment with excellent opportunities for learning and professional development.
We welcome individuals looking to further develop their skills or bring new expertise to the team.

The Role
This position is ideally suited to an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with strong general practice skills. The role requires confidence in all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, including diagnostics, internal medicine, and basic imaging. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a client-focused approach, and the ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team.
We are happy to consider confident surgeons who are happy with all the routine procedures and consultations.
This position could be as well part time for the right candidate.
