Belmont Farm and Equine Vets is a forward-thinking, large animal practice with dedicated farm animal and equine teams, centred in the beautiful county of Herefordshire. Are you looking to take the next step in your career as a progressive farm animal vet? We are looking for an experienced farm animal vet to join our fantastic team. From large progressive dairy farms to smallholders and everything in between, we have a huge range of systems and something for everyone’s passions. Who we are Herefordshire is one of the most diverse and innovative farming areas in the UK. We have a wealth of systems in the practice and all interests would be catered for. We are a supportive and sociable 18-vet team working out of 3 branches in Hereford, Bromyard and Ledbury, striving to provide an enjoyable working environment with a focus on personal and clinical development and delivery of great service to the rural community. We have a full complement of TB testers and a growing team of vet techs to work alongside. What's on offer? We are looking for a production animal vet to join us. Due to family circumstances, we are losing an experienced vet so some experience would be a positive for applicants. The role would suit someone 1-3 years qualified, looking to develop their farm animal skill set and knowledge in a strong independent practice. Thanks to our dedicated TB team of 9, this role would entail minimal TB testing, allowing any prospective vet to flourish clinically. We are part of the RVC internship program and have 2 VetGDP advisors along with DBR and certificate holders. The practice has a learning culture and we encourage further qualifications and development.
