MJ Health is currently seeking an experienced Permanent Lead Veterinary Surgeon for our well-established client in Hadley Wood, Hertfordshire.
Overview:
Salary: Up to £73,000 per annum, depending on experience
Animal type: Small animal
Shifts: 42 hours over a 4-day week (8:30am–7:30pm)
Full time/Part time: Full time
Out of hours: No – OOH covered by nearby hospital site
Weekends: 1 in 3 Saturdays (8:30am–4pm), 1 in 12 Sundays at local hospital (8:30am–6:30pm)
Sole charge: Yes, some expected
Team Size: Small team of 2 vets, RVNs, and CCAs
Equipment/facilities available: Digital radiography, ultrasound, 3 consult rooms, dedicated operating theatre
Software used: To be confirmed
Other Info:
Excellent opportunity to lead and develop a branch team
Support from senior leadership and a nearby hospital site
1 admin day per week and monthly leadership meetings
Parking available on-site
Desirable: GDP advisor (or willing to train), and experience issuing AHCs
Strong surgical and leadership skills required
Great local transport links near the M25 and Hadley Wood rail station
