I am assisting my client in Hertfordshire who is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established small animal team in a permanent part time position. This role offers a varied caseload, clinical autonomy, and the opportunity to build strong client relationships while delivering high quality patient care.
The Opportunity
- Permanent part-time position
- Sole charge responsibilities with support from a wider veterinary network
- Varied medical and surgical caseload
- Opportunity to follow cases through and provide continuity of care

Working Pattern
- 21 hours per week
- 1 in 3 Saturdays
- Participation in the bank holiday and on-call rota on a pro-rata basis

About You
You will be a qualified MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for delivering excellent clinical care and client service. You will be confident working independently when required, while also enjoying being part of a collaborative and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional clinical care in consultations and surgery
- Develop tailored treatment plans and communicate effectively with clients
- Maintain high standards of clinical, regulatory and operational compliance
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide the best possible patient outcomes
- Contribute to the development and sharing of clinical knowledge within the wider veterinary community
Weekend, bank holiday and on-call working will be required. Additional OOH or overtime opportunities may be available.
