GVC is supporting a multi-site small animal group in West Yorkshire with a hospital-based opportunity for a Surgical Veterinary Surgeon or RCVS Advanced Practitioner (Surgery and/or Orthopaedics). This is a permanent position, available full-time or part-time, with a salary of £80,000–£100,000 depending on experience. - The role is based in their veterinary hospital, supported by a wider network of local branches
- Ongoing investment in people, facilities and equipment, including on-site CT
- A collaborative, multidisciplinary environment focused on consistently high patient-care standards
- Lead and develop the group’s surgical and orthopaedic service within the hospital setting
- Manage a varied surgical and orthopaedic caseload, taking ownership of case planning through to post-op outcomes
- Use imaging and diagnostics (including CT) to support confident clinical decision-making and quality patient care
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth referrals, handovers, and continuity of care across sites
- Mentor and support colleagues, building capability and consistency in surgical standards
- Help shape service direction, pathways and ways of working to strengthen surgical provision over time
- £80,000–£100,000 salary (DOE)
