New Era Veterinary Hospital have a fantastic opportunity for a Night Vet to join the team.
Our practice is a thriving small animal hospital on the picturesque island of Jersey. This is a unique opportunity to work in a busy and dynamic environment while enjoying a work-life balance that allows for restful nights off.
The Role:
We’re looking for a Vet with the passion, experience and confidence to deliver exceptional care to small animals during night shifts. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
The rota of 7 nights on, followed by 14 nights off offers for an excellent work-life balance.

Salary – from £60,000 dependent on experience
Key responsibilities will be:
- Collaborate with our skilled team of veterinarians and support colleagues
- Diagnose and treat emergency cases
- Monitor hospitalised patients and perform necessary procedures
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding treatment plans
The Team:
We have a diverse and highly dedicated team of 25 Vets, some of whom are certificate holders or completing certification, plus our skilled RVNs, ACA’s and support team all working collaboratively to ensure we offer the best possible service to our clients.
We’re a supportive, friendly and sociable team that enjoys get togethers outside of work too, making the very best of our well-earned down time.
