Are you a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon looking for a role where patient care and work-life balance truly matter? We're working with a fantastic small animal practice in a semi-rural setting, easily commutable from London, to find a caring and capable vet to join their team on a fixed-term basis.
🩺 The Opportunity:
This is a maternity cover position starting mid-November 2024 and running through to summer 2025 — with the potential for long-term opportunities beyond that. You'll be joining a welcoming team of 3 vets, 4 RVNs, a student nurse, and experienced support staff who all share a common goal: providing gold-standard care in a relaxed, friendly environment.
📅 The Role:
- 4-day week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (8:30am – 6:30pm)
- 1 in 3 Saturdays (8:30am – 12:00pm) with time off in lieu
- No out-of-hours, no on-call
- A balanced mix of consulting and surgery in a well-equipped, modern practice
- Option to reduce to 3 days per week (plus weekends) for the right candidate
