Our client is offering a compelling opportunity for a new graduate veterinary surgeon looking to begin their career in small animal care. This Graduate Development Programme offers a blended learning approach with training days, mentoring, CPD, and clinical practice. You will receive one-on-one and group mentoring to develop essential skills in surgery, medicine, teamwork, client care, and business knowledge.
You will be working alongside an experienced team of 14 vets and skilled 24/7 nursing staff all of whom provide a collaborative and positive workplace culture as well as a social committee dedicated to team-building events and activities.
This RCVS accredited, modern mixed practice has received a 2 star- ‘Best companies’ award for colleague satisfaction and achieved the Investors in Environment Silver Level Award and is progressing toward the Green award, the practice also offers well-equipped facilities including Laser therapy, video endoscopy, ultrasound, and digital x-ray and services including 15-minute consultations.
The successful candidate will ideally be a recent veterinary graduate (Small Animal) and who is friendly, proactive, and enthusiastic about joining a supportive team and comfortable with sole charge on-call (with structured support as needed).
This is a permanent, full-time role working 5 days a week with 1:11 weeks On Call (Sole Charge whilst On Call). However, our client can be flexible and can support flexible working hours if required, so please do let us know your preferences.
