ECC Veterinary Surgeon – Leicestershire – Up to £75,000 DOE
7 Nights On / 21 Nights Off Rota
GVC are assisting a leading 24-hour small animal hospital in Leicestershire who are seeking an ECC Veterinary Surgeon to join their night team. This unique rota pattern of 7 nights on and 21 nights off offers outstanding work–life balance, perfect for someone wanting a high-impact clinical role with substantial downtime.
You’ll be working within a well-equipped hospital environment with advanced diagnostic and surgical facilities including a modern ultrasound machine, full orthopaedic kit, digital and dental X-ray, endoscopy and more.
This role is suited to a confident Vet comfortable with sole charge, emergency cases and providing calm, high-quality care during busy night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional clinical care across emergency cases and hospitalised patients
- Provide clear, compassionate communication to clients
- Maintain high standards of clinical governance and compliance
- Create tailored treatment and care plans with transparent cost estimates
- Support, mentor and contribute to a positive team culture
- Complete thorough clinical handovers for ongoing patient care
About You
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Confident handling ECC caseloads and working sole charge
- Strong communicator with excellent client-facing skills
- Team-focused with the ability to support and motivate colleagues
- Comfortable with a progressive, high-standard clinical environment
