JR is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients recently refurbished and modernised practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-equipped and supportive environment, with the chance to provide high-quality care to the patients and clients.
The practice has been thoughtfully upgraded with modern facilities, including digital radiography and dental radiography, multiparameter anaesthetic monitors, endoscopy and bronchoscopy, ultrasound and tonometry, a well-equipped in-house lab and piped oxygen. The practice is also ISFM accredited as a Cat Friendly Clinic, featuring a dedicated cat waiting area, separate cat and dog wards, and an isolation facility. These facilities reflect the commitment to delivering the best care in a stress-free environment for both the patients and clients.
Situated in a charming market town in southwest Leicestershire, offering a blend of countryside tranquility and urban convenience, the town provides excellent commuter routes to major motorway networks. Birmingham Airport is only 40 minutes away, and the Town Centre offers a wide range of shops, independent cafes, restaurants, bars, and nightlife options.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for and required to:
- Deliver exceptional clinical care during consultations and procedures
- Provide clear and compassionate updates to clients regarding their pets treatment and progress
- Develop tailored treatment plans with clear cost estimates
- Mentor and support your team to enhance their skills and maximize their effectiveness
- Ensure smooth clinical handovers and coordinating care for patients requiring out-of-hours or specialised treatment
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills

This role offers a salary up to £55,000 DOE including a range of benefits including
