We are looking for a caring, dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, independent small animal practice in South Lincolnshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive, experienced team providing high-quality veterinary care in a friendly, client-focused environment.
The Role
You’ll be joining a single-site, busy practice offering:
• First opinion consultations across a wide range of medical and surgical cases
• Routine preventive care and diagnostics
• Opportunity to work alongside experienced vets with clinical freedom
• Mix of consulting and surgical days, with early and late shifts shared fairly
• Participation in a 1-in-6 out-of-hours rota, supported by an experienced vet and nurse on call
• Access to modern in-house diagnostic equipment including blood machines, digital x-ray, and ultrasound
This role is ideal for a Vet seeking a balance between autonomy and team support, with structured days off for personal planning.
Requirements
• RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
• Comfortable with general surgery, diagnostics, and first opinion medicine
• Able to work collaboratively in a supportive team
• Willingness to participate in the out-of-hours rota
Benefits
• Competitive salary (dependent on experience) + 5% employer contribution to pension plan
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• 10 days sick pay at full pay (unused days carry over up to 30)
