The Role

Avenue Veterinary Centre have a full-time position available for a First Opinion General Practitioner to join their diverse team of 8 Vets and 6 registered veterinary nurses. You will work 40 hours per week, across 4 days with 1:3 Saturdays and no out-of-hours! We offer a competitive salary of up to £45k DOE plus benefits.

About Us

Avenue Vets is located in Grantham, Lincolnshire, with direct access to the A1 and is well served by the East Coast mainline from London to Scotland. We also have a small branch surgery in a neighbouring village in the Vale of Belvoir. Our facilities include separate dog and cat wards, digital radiography, sonoscape ultrasound, two separate operating theatres, and fully equipped lab.

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for a small animal first opinion General Practitioner with a desire to practice good medicine and surgery. We can accommodate either a new graduate looking to build on their skills and experience or someone with an existing skillset. The ability to work well within a team and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
