Small animal locum vet required ASAP for a well-run, supportive practice in Bermuda. This is a genuine GP locum with a steady workflow—consults plus surgery—so you’ll need to be confident in theatre as well as comfortable managing a busy caseload day-to-day. You’ll suit this if you:- Are an experienced small animal GP vet (3+ years ideal)
- Are confident with routine soft tissue surgery and consults
- Can handle cases independently but enjoy a team-led, supportive environment
- Have advanced surgery/orthopaedics exposure (highly beneficial)
- Initial 3-month locum (with potential to extend)
- Average ~3.5 days per week
- Typically 3 days on / 4 days off
- Shared on-call rota
- Closed Sundays
- Full rota specifics confirmed during screening/interview
- Friendly, established team with strong nursing/support staff
- Facilities and kit to support soft tissue and orthopaedic work, including TPLO capability
