Morden, London, United Kingdom

A supportive, forward-thinking team. Space to grow your surgical interests. A workplace where you will genuinely feel valued.

If You Are Ready for a Role Where Your Skills Are Seen and Your Voice Matters

If you are tired of feeling rushed, stretched, or like you are simply firefighting day to day, this might be the shift you have been hoping for. If you want a role where your surgical interests are encouraged rather than side-lined, you will want to keep reading.

The Opportunity

We are working with a modern, purpose-built small animal practice in Morden, that has created an environment where clinical quality and colleague wellbeing sit side by side. This practice is not trying to plug a rota gap. They are looking for a vet who wants to become a valued part of their team, someone who takes pride in delivering excellent care and who enjoys collaborating across clinical and client-facing teams.

If you have a passion for advanced soft tissue surgery or orthopaedics, you will find serious opportunities here. The team actively encourages surgical development and already supports certificate-level clinicians in areas such as ECC and small animal surgery. You will step into a role where your interests are recognised as assets, not burdens.

Success here looks like providing thoughtful, preventative care, communicating clearly with clients, supporting your colleagues, and feeling confident in the clinical decisions you make every day. The practice works hard to ensure that every vet who joins can do their best work without compromising who they are outside the consult room.

Why This Role Is Different

A Team Built on Growth and Stability

A Practice That Invests in You

A Culture Where You Can Breathe

Your Journey Here

In Your First Month:
You will settle into the team, get comfortable with the workflow, and build relationships with the clinicians and client care team who will support you day to day. You will gain confidence navigating their systems and processes.

In Your First 3 Months:
You will be managing a varied caseload independently, contributing to clinical discussions, and exploring areas of development that align with your interests. If surgery is your passion, you will already be taking on more advanced procedures where appropriate.

In Your First 6 Months:
You will be a trusted vet whose strengths are recognised across the team. You may be progressing toward a certificate, shaping aspects of the caseload, and mentoring colleagues in areas where you excel. You will feel part of something stable, supportive, and genuinely forward-thinking.
