A purpose-built, modern practice. A supportive, close-knit team. A role shaped around balance, growth, and great medicine.
If You Want More Than Just “Another Vet Job”
If you are an experienced vet who loves early diagnostics, values continuity, and wants to feel genuinely supported rather than stretched thin, this could be the fresh start you have been hoping for. If you are craving a team that communicates well, follows through on cases, and makes space for you to do your best work, you will feel right at home here.
The Opportunity
We are working with a purpose-built small animal practice in the Waltham Forest area, that believes great veterinary care starts with giving vets the time, tools, and team to do their best work. This is a place shaped by people who care about the medicine they practice and the wellbeing of the colleagues they practice alongside.
They are looking for a vet with 3 plus years of experience, including at least one year in the UK, who enjoys early diagnostics, values clear communication, and brings consistency and care to each case. Someone who follows through, collaborates well, and wants to be part of a supportive, mixed clinical and non-clinical team.
Success in this role looks like continuity with your patients, the freedom to practice thoughtful medicine, and the space to keep developing clinically at a pace that feels right for you.
Why This Role Is Different
A rota built for real balance
A 4 day week with a consistent day off, designed to protect your life outside of practice.
9 hour shifts with a natural rhythm: consulting, surgery time, and a dedicated admin hour every single day so you leave on time.
1 in 4 weekends with no hidden surprises.
A team you can trust
A supportive group of vets, nurses and non-clinical colleagues who genuinely enjoy working together.
A culture where communication matters and everyone plays their part in delivering excellent care.
Colleagues progressing through certificates and advanced training, creating an environment where development is the norm.
Facilities that make clinical work smoother
A purpose-built, modern surgery designed to reduce stress for pets and people.
State-of-the-art equipment across diagnostics, imaging, and surgical work.
The space and resources to practice early detection and thoughtful case management.
A workplace where you can grow
A team actively developing their special interests, supported by funded CPD and internal leadership training.
Opportunities to deepen your clinical passions with the backing of a wider independent group.
Your Journey Here
In Your First Month:
You will settle into the rhythm of the practice, meet the full team, understand their systems, and find your stride with the caseload. You will have time to integrate rather than being rushed.
In Your First 3 Months:
You will be confidently managing your own cases, building strong relationships with clients, and contributing to discussions around clinical decisions. You will begin shaping your development pathway with the support of leadership.
In Your First 6 Months:
You will be a key part of the team, fully integrated into the consult and surgical rota, potentially pursuing advanced training, and consistently delivering continuity of care that makes a real difference to patients and families.
