Are you a passionate Veterinary Surgeon looking to help shape a better kind of first-opinion practice from the ground up? We are seeking founding Veterinary Surgeons to join progressive, newly built practice's opening in Merseyside and Lancashire starting in November 2026.

As a founding vet, you won't just be filling a rota — you'll help set the clinical culture, with direct input into practice protocols, the client journey, and daily operations.

📅 Rota, Hours & Requirements
Position Type: Full-time, permanent role starting November 2026.
Clinical Caseload: Comprehensive GP caseload covering routine wellness consults, medical investigations, minor surgical procedures, and preventive healthcare.
Requirements: Must be MRCVS registered with ideally 3+ years of post-qualification experience (newly qualified veterinary surgeons with strong clinical foundations are also warmly encouraged to apply). Applicants should possess a care-first approach and thrive within a collaborative, first-opinion practice environment.
⏰ Fixed Rota Options
Each successful candidate will work one fixed shift pattern for the duration of their contract:
- Shift Pattern 1 (Weekdays): Monday to Thursday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
- Shift Pattern 2 (Weekends): Friday to Sunday
- Friday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
- Saturday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Sunday: 12:00pm – 4:00pm
💰 Salary & Benefits Package
- Weekday Shift Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)
- Weekend Shift Salary: £52,500 – £55,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)
- CPD Allowance: Generous annual CPD allowance alongside protected study time.
