Are you a warm, outgoing, and passionate vet ready to embrace the best of both a small animal and large animal practice? We are seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our client’s busy and vibrant team in the heart of County Down.
Located between the breath taking Mourne Mountains and the stunning Ring of Gullion, this practice offers a truly unique lifestyle opportunity. Whether you are an outdoor enthusiast or enjoy a lively community spirit, this location is the perfect base for exploring the beauty of Ireland.
You will be working alongside a close-knit, supportive team that values collaboration, high standards, and a healthy dose of good humour. This team take pride in the strong relationships they have built with both pet owners and farming clients, and work hard to maintain a standard of care that reflects their deep commitment to the local community.
As a mixed practice, understanding and respecting the rural lifestyle of clients is essential. You will have the full support of a dedicated and experienced team, including locals who bring a wealth of insight into the area and its needs.
This is a permanent, full time role working Monday – Friday (9am – 5.30pm) with a 1:4 OOH rota and 1:4 weekends.
This role offers a salary up to £60,000 DOE and a range of benefits including
