Sam is recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Mid Wales, for an experience Veterinary Surgeon to take on a lead role. This is a full-time Permanent role, working 4 days per week with 1:6 weekends.
This practice is situated in a lovely village at the heart of the community, and has 3 consult rooms, separate prep and theatre, separate dog and cat ward and all the usual equipment, including k-laser. They offer 15 minute appointments and you will be supported by a dedicated, driven head nurse, student vet nurse and a receptionist.
You will need to have 3-5 years experience in a small animal practice, and ideally leadership experience or supervising and mentoring colleagues. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team.
Your role will be to drive the clinical performance and other aspects of the business, and you will be helping to grow the client base. As well as your day-to-day duties within practice caring for your patients and clients, you will play a key role in leading and managing the team.
