Veterinary Surgeon – Full-Time | Competitive Salary DOE + Night Shift Uplift | 1:5 Weekends | Norfolk

What’s On Offer

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a forward-thinking, independent veterinary group with a strong reputation for clinical excellence and team wellbeing. With a varied caseload and flexible rota including a 1:5 weekend and 1:9 night shift pattern, you’ll enjoy a good balance of routine and emergency work with dedicated recovery time following nights.

Shifts rotate between two well-equipped sites and are allocated as early (7am–4pm), daytime (8:30am–5:30pm), or late (10am–7pm), with structured night shifts providing 24-hour care across the practice.

You’ll work alongside a supportive senior clinical team and be encouraged to bring your ideas, mentor others, and contribute to audits and clinical improvements.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a team-oriented vet who thrives in a collaborative environment. You’ll be passionate about delivering a high standard of first-opinion care, with an appreciation for balancing diagnostic and pragmatic approaches. A calm, professional communicator, you’ll enjoy client engagement and show compassion for both animals and their people.

New graduates or those looking to grow their confidence are welcome—structured mentoring and VetGDP supervision can be arranged.

Clinical Culture & Development

The practice fosters a respectful, honest, and forward-looking culture where continuous improvement is the norm. All staff are encouraged to contribute to shaping clinical practice and improving patient outcomes. If you’re seeking a role with autonomy, mentorship, and strong leadership support, this is an ideal opportunity.
