Global Veterinary Careers (GVC) is delighted to be working with a well-established independent practice in beautiful North Norfolk to recruit an experienced Veterinary Surgeon.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly supportive, forward-thinking team that prides itself on delivering an exceptional standard of first-opinion care. With a hospital, multiple certificate holders, and an Advanced Practitioner leading a busy imaging caseload, you'll have access to excellent clinical support and opportunities to develop your own interests.
The role is based across the practice's western site, with the small animal work centred at their North Walsham branch. You'll become part of a close-knit and collaborative team where knowledge is shared freely and staff retention is exceptionally high.
The Role
- 4-day working week
- Up to £65,000 depending on experience
- 1.5 days of surgery and 2.5 days of consultations (flexible depending on your interests)
- Mixture of early and late shifts:
- 8:00am – 4:00pm (1 day)
- 9:00am – 5:00pm (2 days)
- 9:30am – 6:30pm (1 day)
- Shared Saturday rota
- Shared out-of-hours rota across all three sites, currently split between 28 vets, making the commitment very manageable.

- Independent practice with a veterinary hospital
