Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a Lead Vet to join a well-established North London practice and help drive the clinic forward with exceptional care, clinical leadership, and strategic influence.

About the Role
As Lead Vet, you will:
Take accountability for the clinical leadership of the practice team.
Deliver outstanding care for patients and clients, always striving for excellence.
Work closely with the Practice Manager to support the clinic’s growth and commercial success.
Mentor and inspire your colleagues, helping them to develop and thrive.
This role is ideally suited to a Veterinary Surgeon with at least 4 years’ UK experience, confident in surgery, diagnostics, and case management, who is ready to lead a team. You’ll have autonomy to shape clinical standards, with the reassurance of Medivet’s wider support network and access to advanced facilities in nearby 24-hour hospitals.
About the Practice
Purpose-built clinic at the heart of the community.
Well-equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental facilities, and an in-house lab.
Loyal client base with a varied and interesting caseload.
Experienced nursing and reception team offering excellent support.
Access to certificate support and referral to Medivet’s 24-hour hospitals.
The role is full-time, working 4 days per week (9am–7pm with a 1-hour lunch), plus participation in a 1:6 weekend rota.
