An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent, RCVS Accredited Practice in York. The full time role with a very varied caseload, where possible the rota can be tailored to accommodate areas of preference / interest but applicants must be happy to deal with all species out of hours. The out of hours rota always includes 2 Vets on call, equally shared between 12 Vets, allowing a 1 in 6 pattern. There is always a nurse on duty and the on call rota includes first and second on call. The practice has a large and expanding farm client base, with regular routine fertility visits and herd health planning for both cattle and sheep. You should be confident with routine procedures and be committed to providing the highest standards of patient and client care. Professional development is actively encouraged with the opportunity to study to certificate level. Regular in-house clinical meetings and discussions. Competitive salary, dependant on experience.
