Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and ambitious Veterinary Surgeon to join a brand-new independent practice set to open in Summer 2025 in North Yorkshire. This is a fantastic chance to be part of the founding team and help shape the future of the practice, with the potential to take on a leadership role and mentor your own team if desired.
The successful candidate will receive full support in the setup, operation, and growth of the practice, with the added opportunity to perform keyhole surgery at a sister site. The practice will be staffed with qualified support personnel to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Salary is up to £75,000 Per Annum, with the added benefit of a bonus scheme.

- A genuine opportunity to develop your skills and manage your own caseload while maintaining continuity of care with clients.
Working Hours:
- 40 hours per week, spread over 4 days (8:30am to 6:30pm), including paid designated breaks.
- Saturday mornings (8:30am to 12:00pm) will be consults only, on a rota basis, with time off in lieu during the following week.
- No out-of-hours (OOH) work and no on-call duties.
Key Benefits:
- RCVS and VDS fees paid.
- CPD allowance of £1,500 per year, plus 4 days’ paid leave.
- 5 weeks’ holiday, plus Bank Holidays.
- No requirement to work on Bank Holidays.
- Accommodation available for those relocating.
- Relocation package of up to £3K available.
- Visa Sponsorship Licence in place for eligible candidates.
