We are pleased to be recruiting for an excellent opportunity on behalf of our client — a modern, well-equipped small animal practice based in the beautiful county of Northamptonshire. This role is perfect for an experienced Vet who is ready to take the next step into clinical leadership while continuing to enjoy a hands-on clinical role.

This is a fantastic chance to lead a committed, friendly, and supportive team that truly values delivering personal, high-quality care to its loyal and long-standing client base. You will have the freedom and autonomy to shape the clinical standards and team development, with full backing from the wider leadership structure.

The practice is purpose-built, offering excellent facilities including ultrasound, ECG, dental suite, in-house lab, and separate cat and dog wards — allowing you to practice to a high standard across a varied and interesting caseload.

🔍 The Role:

• 40 hours per week over 4 days
• Participation in a 1 in 3 Saturday rota, or 1 in 6 full weekends at a nearby 24-hour hospital
• Lead and mentor a team of Vets, RVNs, and support staff
• Deliver high-quality clinical and client care both in consults and surgery
• Drive clinical standards, patient outcomes, and operational excellence
• Actively support the development of nurse clinics and Schedule 3 procedures
• Build lasting relationships with a well-established, loyal client base

🎯 What We’re Looking For:

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
• Previous experience in a clinical leadership or senior Vet role desirable
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for mentoring and developing teams
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A desire to contribute to the practice’s growth and clinical culture

💰 What’s on Offer:

• Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 DOE
