are opportunity has arisen for an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon (5 years+ qualified) to join a highly respected, independent practice in Northamptonshire. This role is ideal for a confident, relationship‑driven vet who values continuity, autonomy and the chance to help shape a best‑in‑class practice.
The Practice This family‑owned practice is built on strong ethics, genuine client and case continuity, and a commitment to supporting pets, people and the local community. Clients are matched to “their” vet, ensuring long‑term relationships and consistent clinical oversight.
You’ll be joining a friendly, close‑knit team of:
- 5 Vets
- 5 Nurses
- Additional support staff
The practice environment is modern, spacious and filled with natural light. Public areas are designed to feel welcoming and homely, and clinical spaces are equipped to support advanced work. A new purpose‑built facility is also in development, with investment aligned to the team’s clinical interests.

The Role This is a premium GP role offering full clinical autonomy, guaranteed case continuity and the opportunity to build long‑term client relationships. You’ll work from your own personalised consult room and be supported to develop your clinical interests at your own pace.

About You The practice is looking for a vet who:
- Has 5+ years’ experience in small animal practice
- Remains calm under pressure

- Doesn’t mind making the occasional cup of tea

Salary & Benefits
- £60,000–£80,000 depending on experience
- Up to 20% of salary as an annual bonus (not sales‑based)
