Ideally, you’ll have some experience under your belt and if you’re interested in MRI so much the better, but we are open to all candidates.
About us:
The clinic is an established, RCVS accredited, ambulatory practice with a growing referral caseload, and 10-stable facility. The emphasis is on diagnostics, with a standing MRI, Scintigraphy and surgical theatre suite which runs alongside our general practice.

The Role:
- Salary – dependent on experience (starting at £35k for a New Graduate with a review at 6 months)
- Full-time or part-time – chat to us about what works for you
- 1 in 6 out of hours rota - participation in the OOH rota is essential however some flexibility within this is an option
The Team:
Our collaborative team of 5 vets have a wealth of experience and a diverse range of interests from internal and emergency medicine, imaging and elective surgery with a target market of largely leisure horses and semi-professional/amateur competition horses.
We have the valued support of our skilled RVN’s, VCA’s and support colleagues who help ensure we deliver the best service possible to our clients.
Health and well-being are important to us, and we run a free monthly group Pilates session and even have a run club!

The Area:
The Tyne Valley is a very pretty place to live and has Hadrian's wall running right through the middle. We are only 30 minutes from Newcastle city centre with all its attractions and amenities, but far enough away to enjoy rural life.
The practice covers a wide area including the country's largest man-made reservoir Kielder Water and magnificent Forest and a large section of coastline including Whitley Bay and Tynemouth.
There’s plenty to enjoy in your downtime - cycling, hiking, wild swimming, Parkruns are all on the doorstep plus there are lots of great clubs including football, rugby, triathlon, rowing and tennis in the area. Plus, the gateway to the Lake District is only an hour and a half drive away at Penrith.
