Our client’s longest-established small animal practice, is seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career within a supportive environment, surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of County Fermanagh, near Lough Erne and the Cuilcagh Mountains.
This role is ideally suited for a Large or Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon where you will be working alongside nine vets, supported by a nurse, two student nurses, three patient care assistants, three client care assistants, and an administrator.
As a key member of the team, you will be integral in providing high-quality care for the patients and clients, with responsibilities including:
- Delivering exceptional clinical care during consultations and surgical procedures.
- Keeping clients informed and updated on patient progress, building trust and rapport.
- Preparing accurate, tailored treatment plans with clear cost estimates.
- Mentoring and developing team members, supporting them to enhance their skills.
- Conducting clinical handovers, arranging necessary out-of-hours care as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours a week over 4 days with 1:5 weekends and 1:5 nights on call. However, our client will also consider a part-time role for the right candidates and can be flexible, so please do let us know your preferences.
This role offers a salary up to £72,000 DOE with benefits including
