Our client has a compelling opportunity for a veterinarian looking to join their progressive, supportive, and well-equipped practice. Situated in scenic Perthshire and ranked 5th best place to live in the UK this Practice is an RCVS-accredited single-site facility and offers well-equipped small animal and equine departments with advanced diagnostic tools and visiting specialists for both small animal and equine cases.
You will be working alongside a friendly, dedicated, and supportive veterinary team, including trained Vet GDP advisors for guidance. You will have clinical freedom and encouragement to develop individual clinical interests and practice advanced in-house procedures.
Facilities also include 6 consult rooms, imaging suite, dental suite (with x-ray), two theatres, equipment for endoscopy, multiparameter monitoring, and in-house diagnostics (bloods, cytology, urinalysis) and visiting specialists in orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery.
Equine Facilities include Stables, stocks, trot-up area, and inpatient workup facilities, equipment for digital radiography, ultrasonography, gastroscopy, respiratory scoping, and dentistry an In-house lab with capabilities for haematology, biochemistry, SAA, and cytology and support from visiting equine dental specialists.
This is a permanent, full-time role with a 1:5 OOH On Call Rota with post-call time off (day off after weekday call, long weekend after on-call weekend). You will be assisted by the Nurses on-site 24/7 for emergency support and inpatient care and provide a structured schedule: 15-minute appointments, reserved emergency slots, 30-minute daily catch-up period, and regular early finishes (3 days at 5pm).
