VetPro Recruitment are seeking either a mixed or large animal Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent practice in Powys, Wales. This is a permanent, full time position working 4 days per week with a fixed day off. Saturdays are on a 1 in 12 rota (09:00 – 13:00). Out of hours rota is 1 in 8 first on call and 1 in 8 second on call with a set weeknight each week. OOH bonus scheme with accommodation available on site for on call duties if required. You will join a supportive team of 11 vets who are looking for a vet to join them who has some post graduate experience, ideally completed VetGDP. Well equipped on both large and small animal sides of the practice with a diverse caseload of approximately 50% large animal, 40% small animal, and 10% equine work. The role can accommodate either a vet who thrives on the variety of mixed practice or a vet wanting to focus purely on large animal. Your working week will have a good balance, and no two days are the same. On offer is a competitive salary, dependent on experience with work vehicle provided, CPD encouraged, RCVS and VDS fees paid and more.
