Are you a passionate and friendly Veterinary Surgeon with experience in both Small Animal and Large Animal care? We’re seeking someone with great communication skills and a positive attitude to join our clients close-knit based near Melrose. This is a rare opportunity to become part of a practice that values work-life balance and offers extensive support to its staff.
Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE
Hours: 4-day working week (two days until 5:15 pm, two until 7:15 pm). Flexible and open to discussing your ideal rota.
Our client prides itself on their family-feel atmosphere. The practice is a mix of small animal care and a strong farm base, focusing on beef and sheep. They don't handle equine cases, but we do see some camelids and goats. They believe in fostering a supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to share feedback, ensuring the best possible working conditions for the team.

The Role:
** Engage in both small and large animal work, with the primary focus on small animals.
** Share surgical and consulting duties, with your special interests encouraged and supported.
** Participate in farm on-call duties, with the support of a dedicated nurse.
