MJ Health is currently seeking an experienced Permanent Veterinary Surgeon for our well-established client in Whitchurch, Shropshire.
Overview:
Salary: Attractive remuneration package
Animal type: Farm Animal (Dairy focus)
Shifts: Day shifts with 1 in 10 OOH rota (options to buy/sell OOH work for flexibility)
Full time/Part time: Full Time preferred, but flexible for the right candidate
Out of hours: Yes – 1 in 10 rota
Weekends: Included in OOH rota, with days off in lieu
Sole charge: Yes – OOH and some day cases
Team Size: 30-strong team(12 clinical vets), Vet Techs, TB testers, support staff
Software used: Kingshay & Digifarm systems
Equipment/facilities available:
Ultrasound for repro work
Kingshay and Digifarm herd planning tech
AI & embryo transfer equipment
Vehicle provided or allowance
Other Info:
Minimal TB testing due to specialist TB team
Strong team culture with mentoring and development focus
Flexible CPD allowance and support for further study
Private medical insurance (after 1 year)
Health Shield cash plan
1 day per year for volunteering
