JR has an exciting opportunity for a confident and experienced Farm Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients pioneering out-of-hours farm service designed to provide seamless 24-hour cover for their clients across three practices in the Shropshire area. Their innovative approach separates daytime routine cases from night time and weekend emergencies, allowing the daytime vets to focus on regular care while the dedicated OOH team handles urgent cases. You will be essential in managing diverse emergency cases, developing strong client relationships, and working independently to solve problems effectively.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Attending farm emergencies from home as needed
- Handle a diverse emergency caseload with increased activity during the spring
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and local veterinary teams
- Contribute to the development of the team and service creating a blueprint for other sites
This is a Permanent role working 6pm – 8am Monday - Sunday during your On-Call week, and then one week off providing you with time to pursue your personal interests and to relax and recharge.
This role offers a salary up to £60,000 DOE and a range of benefits including
