An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a modern, well-equipped small animal practice in Shropshire.
This role is ideally suited to a vet with a strong interest in surgery who is looking to develop their surgical expertise while enjoying a high level of clinical autonomy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build and manage their own caseload, supported by a collaborative team and excellent professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality clinical care through consultations and surgery.
Develop and manage your own caseload.
Create tailored treatment plans and communicate effectively with clients.
Maintain high standards of clinical, regulatory, and operational compliance.
Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
Contribute to the sharing of clinical knowledge and best practice.
The Role
4-day working week.
1 in 3 Saturdays.
No out-of-hours responsibilities.
Strong focus on surgical development and clinical autonomy.
Access to funded CPD and further qualifications.

Qualified and registered MRCVS.
Confident in routine surgery and consultations.
Passionate about patient care and clinical excellence.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Keen to develop surgical skills and progress professionally.
