Do you treat each pet like it’s your own and want to join a practice that shares your values for patient care? With a salary of up to £65,000, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and busy small animal practice in Street, Somerset.
About the Practice
You’ll be joining a close-knit and supportive team, with most members having worked together for over 5 years. The settled team includes experienced vets, 3 RVNs, 1 VCA, and 2 receptionists who work collaboratively to deliver excellent patient care.
The practice is purpose-built to a high standard, offering:
3 consult rooms and a theatre
Cat and dog isolation wards
Modern diagnostic and surgical facilities
Bright, spacious design with natural light and a dedicated colleague area
The Role
This is a varied first opinion role, with a clear diary structure, regular catch-ups, and plenty of support for clinical discussions.
15-minute consults as standard, with extra time booked when needed
Sole charge required one day per week and as part of the weekend rota
Full-time role (40 hours) but part-time hours will also be considered
1 in 4 weekend rota
About You
An experienced small animal vet with a broad range of GP skills
Confident in everyday medicine and surgery
Enjoys working as part of a supportive team and building strong client relationships
Able to take on occasional sole charge confidently
