Are you a skilled Veterinary Surgeon looking to join a supportive, close-knit team in a well-equipped and community-focused practice?
JR is seeking an experienced vet with a passion for clinical excellence and team collaboration to join our clients team whilst working alongside two vets, three RVNs (one completing a certificate in medical nursing), and two dedicated support staff. This friendly team is committed to delivering high-quality care while fostering ongoing learning and development.
The practice provides fantastic facilities and modern equipment including
- Digital X-ray and dental X-ray
- Ultrasound scanner and Imagyst
- Fully equipped theatre
- Full Vetscan in-house diagnostics suite
- Broad case variety including routine and emergency care
Nestled in the heart of Somerset this historic market town offering a mix of countryside charm and modern convenience. With excellent access to Exeter, Bristol, and the Southwest coast, it’s perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and professionals seeking balance.
The successful candidate will preferably be a strong communicator and collaborative team player with the ability to lead and inspire clinical teams and is confident in supporting nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures as well as experienced in fostering a progressive and supportive clinical culture.
This is a permanent, full time role working 40 hours per week with 1:4 weekends.
