Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 DOE | Leadership Role
We’re recruiting a Lead Veterinary Surgeon on behalf of a well-equipped, community-focused practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a vet ready to step into a leadership role, combining clinical expertise with team development and practice growth.
You’ll join a passionate and supportive team, taking the lead on clinical decision-making, mentoring colleagues, and delivering high-quality patient care. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on clinical excellence while motivating and guiding others to do the same.
What’s on Offer:
- Salary up to £70,000 depending on experience

The Role:
- Deliver high-quality clinical care through consultations and procedures
- Build lasting client relationships, providing clear updates and clinical advice
- Guide and mentor your veterinary and nursing team, supporting their development
- Maintain high standards of regulatory and clinical compliance
- Work with the Practice Manager to support the practice’s commercial growth
- Share clinical best practices across the wider veterinary network
- Support the team through coaching, leadership, and promoting a positive practice culture
What We’re Looking For:
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Strong clinical leadership skills with a collaborative approach
- Confident in both medical and surgical cases
- Experience in mentoring or developing teams
- Commercial awareness to support practice growth
- Excellent communication and client care skills
