A small animal and exotics practice on the South East London and Kent border is looking for a vet to join their team. It is an independent — which already puts it in a different category — and it has just gone through a complete refurbishment. New theatre, imaging suite with bucky table and ultrasound, separate dental room with digital dental X-ray, full in-house Idexx lab, four consult rooms with separate dog and cat waiting areas. The kit is genuinely impressive.
What makes it stand out even more is the team. Managers work within the practice alongside their colleagues and have a real stake in how things develop. There is a surgical certificate holder and an Ophthalmology AP vet on site. Visiting specialists cover orthopaedics, imaging and cardiology. Unlimited CPD is supported and encouraged. Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience. No OOH. One in four Saturday mornings only. Six weeks holiday. Paid RCVS, VDS, BVA and BSAVA. Discounted pet treatment.
