Are you an experienced ECC vet looking for a fixed-term position with excellent work-life balance? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy 24-hour hospital for a 12-month contract, covering night shifts with a well-structured rota and a highly supportive nursing team.
The Role
You’ll handle a varied caseload, from routine emergencies to critical care admissions, supported by an experienced on-site RVN. You’ll have access to in-house specialists (orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, cardiology, physiotherapy) and a day team ready to take over ongoing cases, so you can leave work knowing your patients are in safe hands.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Sole charge ECC work overnight
- Managing inpatients and emergency admissions
- Performing emergency procedures and surgery when needed
- Working collaboratively with the night nurse and handover to the day team
What’s on Offer
💷 Salary: £30,275 – £41,087.50 (for 4-on/17-off rota)
🕐 Hours: 4 nights on, 17 nights off (average 17.3 hrs/week)
