Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 DOE | Full-time | 4 x 9.5-hour shifts per week | 1:4 weekends
Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking for variety, flexibility, and the chance to make a real difference across multiple practices? We have an exciting opportunity for a Float Vet to join a dynamic, award-winning team covering South Yorkshire and the Midlands.
This unique role offers the chance to work across five modern, well-equipped surgeries, supporting colleagues, filling gaps due to vacancies or long-term leave, and helping to maintain continuity of care for our loyal clients and their pets.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a confident and adaptable Vet who thrives in a flexible role, enjoys variety, and is committed to delivering high-quality clinical care. You’ll be moving between sites, integrating with passionate clinical and support teams, and providing exemplary care to all patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading by example in clinical excellence and customer service
- Supporting preventive care, sick and injured pets, and routine procedures
- Collaborating closely with nurses and practice teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Embracing the flexibility of working across multiple surgeries
The Work Pattern
- 4 x 9.5-hour shifts per week
- 1:4 weekend rota
- Share of bank holiday cover as required
