JR is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join our client’s team. This role offers the chance to lead a talented group of veterinary professionals in providing top-tier care for pets in a supportive, community-focused environment.
Situated in a picturesque town in South Yorkshire, known for its natural beauty and proximity to the RSPB Dearne Valley Old Moor nature reserve and the Trans Pennine Trail. It's an ideal location for anyone who enjoys exploring the outdoors while being part of a close-knit community.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Provide exceptional veterinary care during consultations, surgeries and procedures.
- Maintain excellent communication with clients, providing updates on their pets and care plans.
- Prepare accurate estimates, manage payments, and minimize client debt.
- Collaborate with the Practice Manager and lead, mentor, and develop your veterinary team.
- Proven ability to work well within a team and to lead by example.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 4 days a week with a fair weekend Rota.
This role offers a salary up to £90,000 DOE and a range of benefits including
