What You’ll Do
This is a Senior Veterinary Surgeon role for someone who enjoys clinical leadership, coaching, and developing services as well as maintaining clinical practice. The role is approximately 40% clinical and 60% non-clinical, focused on:
- Providing visible day-to-day clinical leadership and calm, pragmatic decision-making
- Supporting colleagues with second opinions, governance, and consistent clinical standards
- Helping the team balance best practice with realistic, welfare-focused options for clients
- Coaching and mentoring vets and wider colleagues, embedding good habits and confidence
- Working closely with clinical and client service teams to ensure joined-up care and communication
- Contributing to continuous improvement and supporting new ways of working aligned to a purpose-led mission
Working pattern & package
- Full-time, permanent
- 37.5 hours per week
- Salary £67,530–£80,000 (including allowances)
- Flexible working options considered
- Certificate of sponsorship or relocation support can be offered
