Independent Accredited Forward Thinking Small Animal Practice in North Staffordshire are looking to grow with the recent launch of a brand new Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre. Looking for a confident vet to join the friendly team. The ideal candidate will be confident with routine surgery and keen to develop skills further. A mix of consults and surgery with a varied caseload to support your interests. The role will involve 4 days a week with 1 in 3 weekends on rota, urgent cases only. The OOH is shared until the hospital night team is in place - currently very light, with most calls advice only and on call from home. The vets have interests spanning internal medicine, ECC, cardiology, and soft tissue surgery, with visiting orthopaedic surgeons for more complex cases. Supported by a fantastic nursing team, led by an RVN with feline nursing certificate, and three other RVNs. Thriving practice with a loyal client base - the new hospital will feature two theatres, a dental suite, DR X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy and dedicated cat and dog wards. Alongside this, the Rehab Centre will provide hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, and advanced recovery support - set in beautiful Staffordshire close to Stoke, Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham.
