Salary: £36,000 – £45,000 DOE | Contract: Permanent | Hours: Full Time
Are you a Veterinary Surgeon with 1–3 years' experience looking to take the next step in your career? This could be a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, independent small animal practice in North Staffordshire, where you’ll be supported to build your clinical confidence and develop your skills.
With excellent staff retention and a genuinely welcoming team, the practice offers a supportive environment where you can enjoy a varied caseload while working with a good degree of independence.
The Role
- Full-time, permanent position
- 4-day working week with a fixed full day off each week
- £36,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
- Share of the weekend rota, with inpatients only on Sundays as the practice is closed
- Varied caseload of routine and more complex medical and surgical cases
- Opportunity to continue developing your clinical skills and confidence

About You
We’re looking for a Vet who:
- Has around 1–3 years' clinical experience
- Is confident with routine consultations and surgery
- Can work independently while knowing when to seek support
- Is keen to continue developing clinically
- Shares a passion for excellent patient and client care
- Enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive team
