About the Role
An established small animal veterinary practice in Staffordshire is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and supportive clinical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinary professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care, supporting colleagues, and helping to shape the clinical direction of a well-equipped practice.
The successful candidate will play a key leadership role within the practice, combining clinical excellence with team development and mentoring responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
The Lead Veterinary Surgeon will:
- Deliver exceptional clinical care through consultations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures
- Maintain high standards of patient care, clinical governance, and regulatory compliance
- Develop and communicate tailored treatment plans for clients
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to veterinary and nursing colleagues
- Contribute to the ongoing development of clinical standards and best practices
