JR is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our client’s well-established and highly respected group of two small animal practices with over 30 years of experience in providing top-notch veterinary care.
This Tier 2 Small Animal General Practice has been Accredited by the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme for Core Standards and is located nearby market towns, combining the charm of rural surroundings with easy access to Birmingham (50-minute drive) and West Midlands Airport (1-hour drive) with facilities including a recent renovation and Two theatres linked by glass, Digital X-ray, In-house blood machines, Ultrasound and Dental radiography.
You will be working alongside a dynamic team of 6 experienced Veterinary Surgeons as well as dedicated nursing and front-of-house teams.
The successful candidate’s schedule will include 1 dedicated day of surgery, 1 day of consultations and 2 days with a mix of both surgery and consultations. However, you will have flexibility to tailor the frequency of surgery and consultations to match your preferences, whether you have a surgical or consultation bias.
This team are ideally looking for someone with confidence in all routine primary care duties, including basic surgery and consultations and interested in professional development, whether in surgery, medicine, or another area of veterinary care and can be open to collaboration within a supportive team environment.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours a week over 4 days with a set day off and 1:3 Saturday mornings. However, our client is happy to consider a part-time role for the right candidate so please do let us know your preferences.
