An exciting role has opened for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a welcoming small animal practice based in Suffolk.
The practice values contextualised care, working closely with clients to guide them through treatment options that best suit their pets. You will be joining a supportive team that delivers evidence-based medicine and surgery in a modern environment.
🏥 Facilities & Equipment:
- 4 Consultation rooms & 2 Operating theatres
- Direct digital X-ray & brand new ultrasound machine
- Endoscopy & In-house laboratory
- Access to an off-site CT scanner
📅 Rota & Hours:
- Working Options: Full-time, part-time, and flexible working arrangements are welcomed.
- Weekends: Includes some daytime weekend shifts (with time off in lieu provided).
- Out of Hours: No overnight work required.
👤 Candidate Requirements:
- RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
- Minimum 1–2 years’ small animal practice experience.
- Confident with routine consultations, basic medical work-ups, and straightforward soft tissue surgery (support available for further skill advancement).
- Experienced clinicians seeking a change are also welcome, as the role can be tailored to suit.
💰 Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: £45,000 per annum.
- Annual Leave & Sick Pay: 5 weeks’ annual leave plus bank holidays & 3 weeks’ paid sick leave per year.
