Are you an experienced Vet looking for a rewarding, flexible contract in a beautiful part of the country? JR is delighted to be recruiting for an established practice situated in West Suffolk.
🧩 The Role & Work-Life Balance:
- Contract: 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC), available on either a full-time or part-time basis.
- Flexibility: Choose to be based at a single branch or work across three local sites for added caseload variety.
- Hours (Full-Time): Just 36 hours per week over 4 days, ensuring fantastic downtime. Typical shifts are 8:30am – 6:30pm.
- Weekends: 1 in 6 Saturday mornings only, with time off in lieu to protect your weekends.
- Salary: £36,000 - £70,000 FTE (dependent on experience).
🩺 What You’ll Be Doing:
Enjoy a well-balanced mix of consulting and surgery.
The role is typically split evenly between 2 days of consulting and 2 days of surgery, though the team is completely happy to tailor this structure to support your specific clinical interests.
👤 About You:
- A capable and confident Veterinary Surgeon who genuinely enjoys both consulting and theater work.
- Must have your VetGDP completed (unfortunately, this role cannot support a new graduate).
- A team player who values a supportive working environment and high standards of clinical care.
