The Role
Here at Three Rivers Veterinary Group, we are looking for 2 Veterinary Surgeons to join our team. Our weekly Vet rota includes daily administration time and regularly scheduled breaks. We can offer a variety of exciting and fulfilling roles to suit the right candidate’s needs. Generally, our Vets work an even split of operating/consulting at our main practice and across our 5 other branches, this offers opportunities to gain support in surgery and evolve your skills. However, if you prefer working with a smaller team or consulting only roles, we can offer an adapted position at one of our branch practices. Certificates are fully supported and funded. There is no obligation to do out-of-hours or night work with this role but we have a good relationship with our local out-of-hours provider and occasional night shifts can be picked up and experience gained in ECC if this is something you are interested in. We have a well-established new graduate support system with clinical coaches, mentors, and Vet GDP advisors. We like to support our Vets and encourage them to follow areas of interest. Recently we have supported Vets through completing surgery and medicine certificates as well as improving skills in imaging and ophthalmology.
This position could be either part-time ideally between 20-30 hours per week or full time being 40 hours a week over 4 days. Our Vets also cover 1:6 Saturday mornings with either a day off the following week in lieu or the hours can be factored into your weekly hours if preferred.
The Salary will be up to £65,000.
